Hunger, homelessness, domestic violence and sexual assault occur daily in Brevard County. The Women's Center is committed to providing support, shelter, education, counseling, information and many other services to women, children and families who struggle with unacceptable situations in their lives. Your help is needed to provide ongoing funding for these important programs and services.

The Women's Center Guild, the fundraising arm of the Women's Center with over 350 members, created the Partners Program for companies and individuals that desire to make a financial commitment of $1,000 or more per year to the Women's Center. With your participation in this program, you will receive community recognition for activities throughout the year in newsletters, event programs, the annual guild membership directory, the website www.womenscenterguild.org, at fundraising events, luncheons and more. Most importantly, you will assure the Women's Center a stable donor budget to maintain ongoing services while reducing fund raising expenses. If you prefer, you may remain anonymous.

You know that many clients of the Women's Center are in dire circumstances as a result of domestic violence, rape, or other unforeseen situations. But you may not have known that your generous contributions have provided funding for over 10,000 referral and on-site services in the past year alone.

• Transitional housing and case management (over 450 women and families)
• Individual and career counseling sessions (over 3200 men, women and children)
• Transportation for clients to work and school (24 donated cars)
• Information referral calls (over 3,000)
• Outreach presentations to local Junior and Senior High schools (214)
• Support groups for Sexual Assault, Survivors of Incest and Domestic Violence.

Additional programs included "Kool Kids", Teen Success, Eating Disorders, Anger Management, Self Esteem Workshops, Strategies for Positive Aging, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, and Parent Survival Group.
